I'm glad you got that spooky vibe :) MJ's interpretation was that Old Man Woo died, while I've heard interpretations that he magically transported into the photo. A lil spooky either way :D
Thanks for your reaction :) When I started this project, I wanted to make something that could qualify for a touching final blog entry, in case I ever got hit by a meteor, etc.. So this would be that, except I have more projects planned ;)
This project (and next week's behind-the-scenes pix & vid) took much longer than expected, so I'm happy to finally return to the blog with something complete, at least :) Thanks for being there!
I've been looking forward to this for so long and you did not disappoint! I love how you use illustration, photography, and crochet in your storytelling! You're a quadruple threat!
That's nice that you missed some of my kookiness! Thank you.. As you know so well, it's fun to find new ways to create fun art. We're very lucky if that work can inspire another person too! :)
It's so good to see you again. Last year you inspired me to crochet a jet pack. I look forward to seeing what you'll do this year. So happy to have you back!
Thanks, Jennifer! Your crochet blog is so enchanting, especially Hodge & Podge! Yes, everyone should have a jet pack :) Rush hour traffic would be fun to watch from the porch haha
Howie, I love your Adventures of Old Man Woo. The last frame was unexpected and I agree with others comments. It was happy. It was sad. It was a little twilight Zone, a fabulous dark comedy. Keep dodging those meteors and creating!
You're back! Hurrah.
ReplyDeletelove your work.
vrrrooom.
Thanks for the love! *waving while vrrrooming*
