Woomi Paints!

Lately, Woomi has been developing his artistic side. Instead of dribbling a basketball, he's been dribbling paint!  He even dressed the part, though artists rarely wear berets and curly moustaches anymore:

Woomi named his painting: "A Study in Burning: No. 2,  2010", which sounds kinda pretentious to me, but it's up to him. I'm just thrilled my crocheted waffles might have inspired him!

It's surprising to discover artsy sides to our alter egos, isn't it?

Bravo for finding new ways to express yourself, Woomi!

The Flatulating Prince

My longtime friend, "Ella", text-messaged me this story about a windy fella she dated...

Thank you for your story, "Ella"! Did breakfast sound like this? I made this can of beans to celebrate the Flatulating Princes & Princesses in our lives:

"Beans, beans the musical fruit
The more you eat, the more you toot
The more you toot the happier you feel
So let's eat beans with every meal!"

How the Fire Started: Toasting Waffles

Last month, Mr. and Mrs. Tota of Florida began their morning with a craving for waffles but received a kitchen fire instead.

According to this article, Elizabeth and Nicholas Tota's toaster caught fire and caused smoke damage to their condominium. Thankfully, the Totas suffered only minor injuries.

I traveled back in time and space to take these photos of the Tota toaster:

Minutes later—even though the toaster's lever had popped back up—the waffles remained stuck inside:

Then this happened:

Poor toaster. Ah well, it's gone to a better place and lives on as a familiar-looking screensaver:

On March 9, 2010, the Totas made waffles in a defective toaster...

And that's how the fire started.

Here's a behind-the-scenes video of how I started the fire:

Woomi the Wabbit

hehe Do you like how I dressed up Woomi as the Easter Bunny?

Woomi is mad about his "bunny-fication", but he'll forgive me someday, somehow.

Till then, Happy Easter!
